Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift: Expected Launch, Design, Features, Engine and Price

Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift: The Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift is expected to arrive in India with several updates to strengthen its position in the compact SUV segment. While the current Brezza remains one of the country’s best-selling SUVs, the facelift version is likely to receive a refreshed exterior, a more premium cabin, and additional technology features.

The updated model is expected to feature a redesigned front grille, sharper LED headlamps with updated DRLs, a revised front and rear bumper, new alloy wheels, and refreshed LED taillights. These cosmetic changes are expected to give the SUV a more modern and premium road presence without changing its overall design language.

Inside the cabin, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift is expected to offer a more refined experience with improved materials and additional convenience features. It may continue with a large touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, connected car technology, rear AC vents, and a single-pane electric sunroof. The company may also introduce new interior color themes and upholstery to make the cabin feel more premium than before.

Under the hood, the facelift is expected to retain the reliable 1.5-litre K-Series petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology. This engine currently produces around 103 PS of power and 137 Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Maruti Suzuki is also expected to continue offering the CNG variant, making the Brezza an attractive option for buyers looking for better fuel efficiency and lower running costs. The SUV is likely to deliver a mileage of around 19–20 km/l for the petrol version, while the CNG model could offer over 25 km/kg, depending on driving conditions.

Safety is also expected to receive attention in the facelift model. Features such as six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Assist, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, rear parking sensors, a reverse camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system are expected to be available, especially in higher variants. Maruti Suzuki may also improve the overall build quality and add more driver assistance features to keep the Brezza competitive in its segment.

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift is expected to be launched in India in the coming months, although the company has not officially confirmed the launch date. The starting price is likely to remain around ₹9 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-end variants could be priced above ₹14 lakh (ex-showroom).

Once launched, it will continue to compete with popular compact SUVs such as the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Skoda Kylaq. With its trusted brand value, fuel-efficient engine, practical features, and expected design upgrades, the new Brezza is likely to remain one of the strongest choices for Indian SUV buyers.
