VinFast VF6: VinFast has increased the prices of its VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs in India, making both models more expensive for buyers. This is the second price revision for the two EVs within the last year. The latest hike comes as VinFast continues to expand its presence in the Indian electric car market.
VinFast VF6 Gets Rs 90,000 Price Hike
The VinFast VF6 has become costlier by Rs 90,000 across all three variants. After the latest revision, the electric SUV is priced between Rs 18.19 lakh and Rs 20.09 lakh, ex-showroom. The three variants are Earth, Wind and Wind Infinity.
The VF6 uses a 59.6kWh battery pack and is offered with a front-wheel-drive setup. Depending on the variant, the electric motor produces different power outputs. The SUV also offers a claimed range of up to around 468km on a single charge, making it a notable option in the premium electric SUV segment.
VinFast VF7 Price Increased by Up to Rs 1.13 Lakh
The larger VinFast VF7 has also received a price revision. Its prices have increased by between Rs 1.10 lakh and Rs 1.13 lakh, depending on the variant. Following the hike, the VF7 now costs between Rs 22.99 lakh and Rs 28.09 lakh, ex-showroom.
The VF7 is positioned as a more premium electric SUV and is available with different powertrain configurations, including single- and dual-motor versions. Higher variants also get a larger battery pack and all-wheel-drive capability.
Second Price Hike Within a Year
The latest revision is notable because it is the second price increase for the VF6 and VF7 in less than a year. Earlier in January 2026, VinFast had increased prices after the introductory pricing period ended. At that time, the VF6 became costlier by up to Rs 90,000, while the VF7 received a hike of up to Rs 1.30 lakh. With the latest increase, buyers planning to purchase either electric SUV will now have to pay a higher ex-showroom price than before.
VinFast Continues to Expand in India
Despite the price increases, VinFast is continuing to strengthen its presence in India. The company recently reached 60 dealerships in the country and is expanding its retail and after-sales network. The VF6 and VF7 compete in India’s growing electric SUV market, where buyers have several options from established manufacturers as well as newer EV brands.
Overall, the latest price hike makes the VinFast VF6 and VF7 slightly more expensive, but both SUVs continue to offer modern electric powertrains, premium features and competitive driving ranges. Buyers should check the latest variant-wise prices and available offers before booking.
